We are now approaching the eastern shore of Lake Michigan and are a bit less than two hours from Boston. Our flight left on time and has been smooth for the most part with the exception of the inevitable bumps as we fly over weather. There really is not a lot to see from 36,330 feet in the air and I am fairly certain that the good people of Michigan are not craning their necks and straining their eyes to catch a glimpse of our airplane as it passes over them. Apparently, there is a mutual lack of curiosity at play here.
We set two alarms and had a wake up call set for 3:45 today, but truth be told, we were both up before any alarm or call by about 3:35. Dianne dreamed we had overslept and missed our flight, so I think that woke her up. Our ride to the airport was right downstairs in the lobby when we got there, so we made it to SFO in plenty of time and breezed through to our gate because there just aren't a lot of people in an airport at 4:35 am. So far there is not a lot to report unless any of you would be interested in a description of the landscape over which we are flying. Here is your description: flat. That about does it for the topographical description and it looks like it won't soon be changing so I think I shall bid adieu for now from 38,056 feet above the earth.
A flat landscape and an excited bride by your side, makes for an extraordinary vacation scene. Oooohhhh.
